Location
Ginkakuji Guesthouse is located in a quiet and safe residential quarter in a historical region in Kyoto. There is a path called "Philosopher's Path" in back of the guesthouse, and it is a wonderful place to stroll. Honen-in Temple is across the path. You can get to Ginkakuji Temple (World Heritage Site) within minutes if you walk along the path toward north, and also if you walk along toward south, you can get to Nanzenji Temple. The start of a trail up of Mt.Migi-Daimonji is also located close to the guesthouse. Would you go to see a wild deer? Since it takes only 10 - 15 minutes by bicycle, this guesthouse is great for students of "Kyoto University", "Kyoto Institute of Culture and Language", "Kyoto University of Art and Design".

Complement	Each room can be locked. / All the residents take turns to clean the communal area. / We can rent out bedding for 8,000yen per set. / The payment of room rent every month is bank transfer.

Communal	Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, Restroom are shared. Furnishing: Table, A/C, TV, Washer, Refrigerator, Microwave, Gas Range, Cooking Ware, Dishes, etc.
